Young Designers and Covid 19
To keep the safety of our Young Designers a top priority we have made a few changes to how we carry out club at the moment.
Keeping our Young Designers safe in the studio:

Cleaning down studio spaces before and after each session

Ceaning machines with antibacterial wipes
-
Providing antibacterial gel on each desk

Removing shared use haberdashery
Keeping our Young Designers online:

Using Zoom to delivery online session that can only be accessed by invite and with a password.

Please ensure a grown up is present when kids are logged into the session, you don't have to sew or even talk but please ensure your children are sewing safe.

Please ensure that home sewing areas are set up in a suitable space for video conferencing in regards to online safety.
What Is Young Designers Club?
Young Designers Club is a weekly afterschool session that invites children (from 7 years and up) to learn the practical skill of sewing whilst making friends and building their confidence.
Based at our studio in the heart of Bromsgrove members of the kids club not only learn to sew with adult supervision they have the opportunity get involved in off-site events such as Sewing for Pleasure at the NEC Birmingham as part of the Creativity on the Catwalk show.
